Canteen Committee


The college is providing canteen facility to the students aswell asteaching and non teaching staff of the college; it is capable of cateringthedemand of the students and can accommodate 30 persons at atime. It hasspacious & properly maintained room as well as kitchen; generally thecollege provides it to any individual on contract basis after proper official’sformalities. The College canteen also caters to the functions organizedinthecollege programmes like seminars, conferences and workshops. Kitchen staff takes care to provide the students and staff anutritious and hygienic food at our campus canteens. A variety of hygienicfood and snack items includes South and North Indian Meals, Variety Rice’s Chinese Foods Fresh Juices, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • A canteen committee is responsible for monitoring theoperationsof the canteen and implementing and reviewing the canteen policy.
  • Theymay also be responsible for specific decisions as specified in thecanteenpolicy, such as employing staff, authorising major purchases or authorisingchanges in the menu.

Function of Committee members

  • Monitoring the operations of the canteen and implementingandreviewing the canteen premises.
  • To ensure the canteen provide arangeofwhole some food for the students at reasonable price.
  • To maintainandcontrol the quality of the food supply in the canteen.
  • Make awarenesstothe students regarding health and hygiene.
