The Hindi department of the college is committed to the creative and cognitive development of the students. The curriculum of undergraduate classes brings together past and contemporary aspects of language and literature to give students a comprehensive understanding of literature and life values.

The study of language and literature helps in the development of a great human being by Study of language and its origin, various discussions, contributions of literary writers and sensitivity towards non-human beings.

The Hindi Department continuously encourages research on new subjects like comparative studies, Gender issues, Subaltern studies etc.
